The Fundamental First with Kadeem Johnson visited the MCAEOC Wiley Head Start Center on Friday, August 29, along with Representative Joey Carr and Mayor Logan of Blytheville. The Fundamental First Basketball camp took place on August 30th. The camp was sponsored by MCAEOC, Big River Steel/US Steel, Blytheville Public School, Nucor Arkansas, Dawson Employment Services, City of Blytheville, New St. Paul MB Church, Elite Senior Care, Chubby’s Catering, Henny & Suga, Travis and Arnesa Joplin, Lenore Trammell, Larrie Bell, Greg and Jackie Burton, Curtis and Priscilla Johnson, Charlie and Angela Johnson, and Bobbie Fair.  The coaches and volunteers helped the Head Start children promote health, teamwork, and fun while engaging in physical activities.
